THE YALE THEATRE
Opened in 1918, the Yale was a tremendous, central asset of Capitol Hill from 1918 to the late 1960’s. As Oklahoma City’s urban cores deteriorated in the 1970’s, the Yale also ceased sowing quality movies and closed in the 1980’s. Mason Realty Investors purchased the Yale in December 2016. The Yale is part of a $2M competition, led by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to renovate 25 historic buildings across the United States.
